The relay is in the process of use, for various reasons, such as low quality of product, improper use and poor maintenance, all kinds of failures are common. In the case of electronic relays, there are few types of locomotives on the motorcycle, and their fault and treatment and examination and test have their own characteristics. In this paper, the fault and treatment of the contact relay are introduced. The most common are the following:
(1) failure to contact the head
Unable to break due to the mechanical occlusion of the head (the needle protruding from the contact of the head and the pit), fusion welding or cold welding.
Due to contact resistance and instability, the circuit cannot be connected properly.
The failure of a circuit to be able to break down a circuit due to excessive load, small contact capacity, or variable load properties.
A failure to repuncture the contact between a contact when the voltage is too high or the contact of the head is smaller.
Failure to break the circuit accurately due to excessive power supply or excessive contact capacitance.
The failure of the contact to work due to various environmental conditions.
The wearing of an extinguishing device or measure, or the improper selection of the parameters, causes the contact to wear out, or cause unnecessary disturbance.
(2) the coil failure
The damage caused by the insulation of the coils is caused by the change in the temperature of the environment, which exceeds the technical conditions. A serious reduction in insulation levels due to moisture; An internal break or a short circuit caused by corrosion.
The coil is damaged due to the voltage over 110% of the coil.
During the use of maintenance, the coil may be damaged by the collision of the instrument, or the thread will be broken.
4. Due to the wrong coil voltage, such as received by the coil in the rated voltage of 110 v, 220 v power supply voltage, or will receive the same level of dc voltage on ac voltage coil and the coil burned immediately.
5. More than 110% rated voltage ac coil may be due to the coil voltage, or the operating frequency is too high, or when the voltage is lower than 85% rated voltage on armature and don't burn out.
When the ac coil is connected to the voltage, it may be caused by the failure of the transmission mechanism or the death of the card to cause the armature to not close and cause the coil to burn out.
(3) the fault of the magnetic circuit
The fraying of the corners and the axis of the shaft, which causes the armature to turn the failure of the dead or the card.
2. In some dc relay, due to mechanical wear and tear, or nonmagnetic gasket is damaged, the armature after closing the most mean smaller gap, residual magnetism is too large, resulting in failure of armature cannot release.
It will cause the armature to vibrate and cause the noise when the core of the ac relay is broken, or the armature iron and the iron core are rusting or invading impurities.
In ac type E type iron core, when the air gap in the middle column disappears due to the fraying of the iron core on both sides, it will produce the failure of the armature.
(4) other
Such as all kinds of deformation or loose parts, mechanical damage, disruption or peeling coating, the insulation between the live part and shell is not enough, counterforce spring from fatigue and loss of elasticity, the set values for the various improper adjustment, the product has reached the rated life etc.
Relay malfunction can be caused by many reasons, in addition to request factory to ensure the quality of the product, the correct use and careful maintenance are also important link to reduce fault, to ensure reliable work.
